Among Us Crewmate with Easter Egg Crown - A Free Crochet Pattern

Even those Among Us get into seasonal themes! If you've been following along, we've been working up these super quick, multi-use Easter Eggs... and today we are using them to crown our little friends! Check out all the info and details you need to work these up yourself! Enjoy!

Here's how you work them up!

Start with the Easter Eggs:

Materials:

Bernat Softee Baby Light weight yarn in Easter themed pastel colors. I used pink, lilac, baby blue, green...pretty much all the pastels 🙂

4mm crochet hook
Polyfil stuffing

Abbreviations:

Ch: chain

Rnd: round

Sc: single crochet

St: stitch

Egg Pattern:

Rnd 1: Begin with chosen color and make a magic ring, ch 1, work 6 sc inside ring (6)

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each around (12)

Rnd 3: sc in each st around (12)

Rnd 4: 2 sc in first st, sc in next, repeat around (18)

Rnd 5: sc in each st around (18)

Rnd 6: 2 sc in first st, sc in next 2, repeat around (24)

Rnd 7: sc in each st around (24)

Rnd 8: 2 sc in first st, sc in next 3, repeat around (30)

Rnd 9-11: sc in each st around (30)

Rnd 12: sc decr, sc in next 3, repeat around (24)

Rnd 13: sc decr, sc in next 2, repeat around (18)

Rnd 14: sc decr, sc in next, repeat around (12)

Rnd 15: sc decr, repeat around (6),

stuff egg with polyfil*

Rnd 16: sc decr, repeat around (3),

Bind off and tuck in lose end.

Here's what you'll need:

Materials:

Various crochet Easter Eggs (6-7 should be enough)
A Crewmate
Floral wire - I find that I use this everywhere so it's worth grabbing a spool of it v. the precut product. Here's the one I use (various colours definitely come in handy)

Assembly:

Step 1: Push floral wire through your assorted Easter Eggs. I placed them a bit haphazard so that it looks less "put together"as a crown. Leave a bit of slack on your floral wire because you'll be using this to fix to the top of the Crewmate's head.

Step 2:

Pull the wire tight so the eggs squish up on each other and you cannot see the wire between them.

Cut the wire leaving 2 inches on either ends.

Twist off the wire to keep the eggs in place.

Step 3:

Fix to the top of your lil Crewmate's head and ENJOY! You may need to attach additional wire to the front to secure it in place or you can sew it on with yarn. If you're using the wire (like I did) be sure to tuck in wire ends so they dont poke anyone!
