Easy Peasy Crochet Baby Blanket

Measurements:

The pattern measures approximately 36"x36" but can easily be adjusted +/- with multiples of 4 stitches. Just be mindful of the gauge!

Materials:

  • Baby DK yarn - this pattern used Red Heart Baby Hugs and 3-4 skeins of each colour (if using 2 colour stripes)

  • Crochet hook size H (5.00mm)

  • Scissors

  • Tapestry Needle


Gauge:

20 stitches, 25 rows to 4"

Abbreviations:

Ch = Chain(s)

Sc = Single crochet

Dc: Double crochet

Sp: Space

Pattern:

Ch 122

Row 1: sc in second ch from hook and across

Row 2: ch 1, *(sc, ch 2, 4 dc) all in next sc, sk next 3 sc, repeat from * across, sc in last sc

Row 3: ch 3, 4 dc in 1st sc, *(sc, ch 2, 4 dc) all in next ch2sp, repeat from * across, sc in last sc

Repeat row 3 until desired length.

HELP! I started this and now I don’t understand row 3 end. Can anyone explain row 3‘s end? I don’t understand where the last sc is?

directions for end of rows does not make for even row can you please clarify ?

I purchased this pattern but directions were unclear about edges. In pictures it looks like you slipped stitched up a shell at end of rows. One blanket looks like shells on top and bottom and in another bottom (or start of the blanket) looks straight. Can you please clarify?
