Puff Stitch Crochet Flower

seeloveshare [FREE Pattern 🌸] I want to avoid the #Kentucky #winter as long as possible so we are spending a few more days on the #westcoast before heading #home. In the meantime, I’ve decided to focus all my current #knit and #crochet #designpatterns to #spring #patterns only! It’s going to make for a happy #throw or possibly a #tablerunner 🤔. #whatchathink?! 🌸 🌺 🌼


Materials: *G hook *Worsted weight Yarn in 2 colors (I used Paton's Cotton Blend) *yarn needle *Scissors


Notes:

This pattern creates 6 petals. Each petal is created over 2 sts in the established 12 ch loop.

Finished flower has a diameter of about 2″


Pattern:

Ch 4, slst to first ch to form a loop

Rnd 1: Ch 1, work 12 scs into loop

Change Color Rnd 2: s lst into first ch, *Ch 3

In same stitch: yarn over, insert hook into same stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop as tall as your beginning ch 3 creating a long loop, *yarn over, insert hook into same stitch, yarn over and pull up a long loop* 2 times,

In the next stitch: In yarn over, insert hook into next stitch, yarn over and pull up a long loop, (Yarn over, insert hook into same stitch, yarn over and pull up a long loop) 2 times.

Yarn over and pull through all loops on hook.

Petal formed. Ch 2, slst into next stitch.

Repeat From * four more times. Ch 3, yarn over, insert hook into next stitch, yarn over and pull up a long loop, (yarn over, insert hook into same stitch, yarn over and pull up a long loop) 2 times, yarn over, insert hook into next stitch, yarn over and pull up a long loop, (yarn over, insert hook into same stitch, yarn over and pull up a long loop) 2 times. Yarn over and pull through all loops on hook. Ch 2 and slst into same st. Fasten off and weave in ends.
